Dr. Arnold specializes in the evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders. He is a Board Certified Spine Specialist and Surgeon with certifications in Spine Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Pain Management. The Arkansas Back Institute and Dr. Arnold offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for adults of all ages. Dr. Arnold attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated in 1983. Thereafter, he completed a five year residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, graduating in 1988. He received additional training in Spine Surgery at the Wiltse Spine Institute in Long Beach, California, SpineCare in Daly City, California and the internationally recognized Minnesota Spine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Professional memberships include the American College of Spine Surgery, the American Academy of Pain Management, the North American Spine Society, the American Back Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Board of Spine Surgery, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. Dr. Arnold founded the Arkansas Back Institute and Arkansas Back Institute Foundation for Reseach & Development in 1993.
