Dan Lepore & Sons Company is a third generation masonry restoration and construction company dedicated to the execution of complex, large scale or historic projects for a national clientele. We work with industrial, commercial and institutional clients. Divided into three divisions, Unit Masonry Construction, Stone Construction and Masonry Restoration, we have developed a unique array of trade and professional skills and can assemble the most comprehensive integrated project teams available for both masonry construction and restoration. For decades, we have assisted clients with structural failures, difficult construction environments, design/build projects and significant historic preservation. At right is a notable Dan Lepore & Sons Co. project, the phased restoration of the exterior of City Hall in Philadelphia. City Hall is a good example of our capacity for scope and complexity. At 548 feet tall, it is the tallest masonry load bearing building in the world. The project required a full range of masonry brick and stone restoration skills including reproduction, replacement, patching, pointing and cleaning. We are certified in both Jahn and KEIM patching systems and in JOS cleaning systems. Begun in 1871, City Hall was the tallest building in the world until 1908 and remained until the 1980's the tallest building in the city. Today, it is still recognized as one of the greatest engineering achievements of the nineteenth century.
