We offer inpatient services, diagnostic services, home oxygen therapy, and Lifeline Personal Response services. Our Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day by our medical staff and physicians from a contracted service. Urgent Care services are offered 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends and holidays. We serve a population of about 27,000 with our service area including Columbus, Fall River, Rio, Waterloo, Marshall, Sun Prairie, Reeseville, Lowell, and other surrounding communities. Emergency transport services are provided to our hospital by a private carrier, Heartline Medix, Inc., as well as the Med-Flight Helicopter Service from Madison. Columbus Community Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
