Emilie Duncan Event Planning, Ltd. was founded after Emilie discovered a passion for weddings and events while planning her own wedding in 2002 and assisting friends and family in their planning. With a degree in merchandising management from Michigan State University and an extensive background in the buying office of several national retailers, Emilie brings her unique view and experiences to every wedding and event. She truly considers it an honor to be part of every wedding and event and it shows - her past clients are now friends! Emilie is a distinguished graduate of the Association of Bridal Consultant's professional development program, earning the title of Professional Bridal Consultant (TM). She has received training and has experience in floral design, photography and cake design and decoration. She attends regional and national seminars every year to keep up to date with trends in the wedding and event industry. Emilie also served as a moderator on the popular Wedding Channel Message Boards for 3 years. She is an active member of International Special Events Society (ISES), the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), Columbus Bridal Consultants (CBC) and Wedding Professional of Columbus (WPC) and strictly adheres to all the Principles of Professional Conduct and Ethics set forth by these organizations.
