Boone Hospital Center is owned by the citizens of Boone County and is leased by BJC HealthCare, one of the largest nonprofit hospital organizations in the United States. BJC, based in St. Louis, serves patients and families in urban, suburban and rural communities through its 13 hospitals and multiple other health-service organizations.
