Creative Meeting Specialists, Inc. is an independent meeting planning company established in 1992 specializing in corporate and business-related meetings. CMS is privately owned and operated by Cathy Pelcheck and Melanie Petri , 50% dual shareholders. CMS has had the privilege of providing travel and meeting management services to such clients as Merck & Co., Inc., AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals (formerly Astra Merck), Prudential, AT&T, Wyeth-Ayerst, Unisys, General Electric, The National Committee for Quality Assurance, Science Applications International Corporation, NextGen, The Medicine Group, Medical Communications Media and Andersen Consulting. Their office staff is comprised of a dedicated team of highly professional, experienced meeting planners with diversified qualifications. They have managed a complete spectrum of meetings ranging from five (5) to four thousand (4,000) attendees. The majority of their experience includes, Faculty Meetings, Board of Directors, Investigators', Training, Management and Sales/Launch Meetings. CMS has the privilege of being certified by the Women's Business Enterprise (WBE). Additionally, our planners are members of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
