Jett Industries, Inc. is a leading general contractor in construction and rehabilitation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, with over 150 public projects completed over the past 19 years. A project list can be found on our projects page. The company, an 'S' Corporation was co-founded by Matthew P. and Patrick D. Centofante in 1985 and is incorporated in New York State. From the original 2 employees, Jett has grown to over 100 employees working in the office and field on several projects concurrently across New York State. In addition to water and wastewater facility construction, Jett provides general contracting for bridge, utility and pre-engineered building construction. C&F Fabricators and Erectors, Inc. a common ownership company to Jett Industries, Inc. specializes in custom process equipment, miscellaneous metals and specialty fabrication. This cooperative arrangement allows Jett Industries to eliminate long lead times and avoid outside vendor issues. In addition to Jett, C&F Fabricators and Erectors, Inc. provides support to several leading water and wastewater process equipment companies including US Filter, Roberts, Westech, Environdyne and DualSand. The Company's success can be attributed to these in-house capabilities that make Jett competitive. Jett's self-performed tasks include foundation and earthworks, treatment process installation and start-up and metals fabrication. As an established contracting company, local knowledge of competitors, governing agencies, local markets, topography and geology and established relationships with subcontractors, Jett Industries, Inc. has a competitive edge over less established contracting companies. With a bonding capacity of $50 million, Jett faced less competition in bidding on large projects and can earn higher margins.
