Saint John's Preparatory School has been educating students for 147 years, built on the teachings and life of Jesus Christ and the 1500 year-old Benedictine tradition. SJP is liberal arts in character, has been co-educational since 1973, and shares its campus with the other divisions of the Order of Saint Benedict and the College of Saint Benedict . This solid base from the past has produced the Prep School of today and continues to be the underpinning for our future dreams. We will be recognized nationally for our practice of the Benedictine Values. We will be known for fully preparing each student for entry into college. We will be respected in the academic community for our ability to internationalize all of our students. Our summer programming will be recognized as the best in Minnesota .
