Clinton Public School offers a parent-paid child care program. This low-cost program is managed and staffed by staff members who are employed by the Town of Clinton Board of Education. The hours of operation are as follows: 7:30AM to 8:20AM and 3:00PM to 6:00PM. The children enrolled in the program will:1. Be provided with a safe environment that encourages feelings of security and self-worth;2. Be supervised by caring adults;3. Be exposed to structured activities such as arts and crafts and supervised games4. Be provided free time to socialize with their peers and play;5. Be able to spend time on independent study and complete homework6. Be offered a snack7. Be provided with special programs, where appropriate, to address a disabling condition. After school care will not operate on schools days with a 12:45PM dismissal prior to winter recess or the last day of school in June. Child-care will also not operate on any day when the school has an early dismissal due to inclement weather or other emergency.
