PsyMax was originally founded in 2002 as PsiBase, by practicing industrial and organizational psychologists, including current Chief Executive Officer Dr. Wayne Nemeroff. In June of 2004, the venture capital operations firm Max-Ventures acquired a majority interest, and the company was renamed PsyMax Solutions. Max-Ventures is led by Michael Feuer, co-founder and former CEO of OfficeMax, whose insight into the importance of good hiring adds a valuable perspective to the PsyMax team.
