Preterm raises the standards of medical care. We serve as a training site for medical residents and other health professionals who want to learn about high quality abortion care. We also participate in medical research, such as the clinical trials that led to the approval of RU-486 for medication abortion. Preterm helps protect the right to safe, legal abortion. We keep our patients and supporters informed about reproductive rights issues through displays, newsletters, letter-writing campaigns, and pro-choice events. We also conduct voter registration drives.
