Clayton Creek Studios designs mica lamp shades laminated with photographic imagery, colorful pigments or natural leaves, then combines them with custom lamps crafted from unique art objects and antiques. Our unique process allows us to achieve a varietal rainbow of colors. There is a warm mica shade available, in different shapes and sizes, to enhance any decor from Traditional to Contemporary, Craftsman, Art Deco, Art Nouveau and just plain eclectic. Every shade is trimmed with cotton/rayon fabric, hand dyed to match, creating a fabulous fit and finish. Shades can also be custom ordered using your own photograph or dried leaves. Our lamps have included antique cloisonné vases, porcelain lions, Japanese head rests, and just about anything that inspires us to wire. We hand patina the new brass parts for the antique look and use U.L. listed parts. Table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling shades and sconces are available. For the final touch, we create our own finials, from unusual beads, arrowheads, Wade figurines and whatever else touches our imagination. Clayton Creek Studios is located in Lake County, California.
