1285 Brucetown Rd, 22624 Clear BrookSeaward is a world leader in innovative uses of plastics and elastomer technology. Founded in 1973, the company provides a wide range of products and services to the marine industry, including marine fenders and buoys, elastomer coatings, plastic pilings and timber, and special anechoic coatings and installation equipment. For nearly thirty years, Seaward engineers have provided technological solutions to such industry problems as energy absorption, corrosion, deterioration, flotation, abrasion, noise control, and other situations requiring the development of special materials. Seaward can bridge the gap between theory and application to meet your own particular needs. Seaward's Marine Products Division features buoys, fendering systems, and specialty products made primarily from polyethylene and polyurethane. Among these, the SEA CUSHION, SEA GUARD, and DONUT Fenders, and SEAFLOAT Buoys, used around the world, are recognized standards in their field. Large or small, floating or fixed, Seaward's fenders and other marine products are used from the tropics to the arctic. We continue to develop and supply the protective marine technologies that keep you on course. The Engineered Plastics Division manufactures structurally reinforced composites from recycled plastic, including SEAPILE Composite Marine Piling and SEATIMBER Composite Marine Timber. Made of 100, DURALIN Plastic and strengthened with fiberglass reinforcing elements, SEAPILE and SEATIMBER materials are impervious to deterioration caused by marine organisms. Primarily, SEAPILE and SEATIMBER materials are used as fender piles, light structural applications, and bridge pier protection. SEAPILE and SEATIMBER materials are manufactured in continuous lengths. Sizes and profiles can be varied to fit specific customer and project requirements. Seaward's Technical Urethanes Division produces and markets castable and sprayable urethanes. These materials, selling under the tradename TECHTHANE Coatings and Linings, are used worldwide as protection wherever high resistance to abrasion and corrosion is needed.
