K&S Engineering, PLLC is a structural engineering consulting firm located in Clarksville, Tennessee. The firm specializes in the structural design of commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings and other structures. The firm's goal is to provide its clients with the best service available using "state of the art" equipment and a highly trained staff. The professional limited liability company began on January 1, 2001. The firm was formerly known as Kessinger & Shepard Engineering. The former company began in 1984 as a partnership between Dick Kessinger and Ben Shepard. The firm had offices in Springfield, Tennessee and Clarksville, Tennessee. Dick Kessinger managed the Springfield office while Ben Shepard managed the Clarksville office. Although Dick is not a member of the new PLLC, the new firm will continue to joint venture with him on many projects. The long association with his office has always been a tremendous benefit to the Clarksville office. K&S Engineering, PLLC is managed by Ben Shepard and Kevin Krantz. Ben and Kevin have over 50 years of combined engineering experience and are licensed in 31 states. They have designed numerous structures such as industrial plants, warehouses, parking garages, schools, office buildings, gymnasiums, stadiums, churches, and jails. The firm takes great pride in providing the most economical structural design possible on every project. The latest technology and computerized applications are used for design. All drawings are produced with Autocad Release 2008. We moved from our previous location, 1820 Memorial Drive, to our new office building at 124 Hillcrest Drive in 2001. The new office incorporates exposed steel framing with a spacious contemporary design.
