Mickey Bates started out selling Ford tractors for a dealership in 1977 and has been in this industry ever since. Mickey took a leap of faith in 1988 and decided to step out on his own and opened Clanton Tractor and Equipment taking on Kubota as the sole brand of tractor. Mickey, along with his wife Barbara and oldest son Jarrad still own and operate the business and are backed by a very experienced and dedicated staff that strives to continue the success that we have experienced over the past 30 years.
