The Ohio Justice and Policy Center (OJPC) is a non-partisan, nonprofit, public interest law office based in Cincinnati, Ohio. OJPC works statewide for fair-minded, progressive reform of Ohio's justice system. Formerly the Prison Reform Advocacy Center, OJPC has four projects: (1) the Second Chance Community Legal Clinic, which provides legal representation to former offenders who face problems that limit their opportunities to become productive members of the community; (2) the Human Rights in Prison Project, which seeks to remedy human rights and civil rights abuses within Ohio prisons; (3) The Democracy Project, which works to encourage former felons to vote and to prevent public officials from interfering with, undermining, or eliminating voting rights for former felons in Ohio; and (4) the Inside/Outside Prison Arts Collaborative, a project that uses art to empower local prisoners to transform their lives. OJPC is the only non-profit law office in Ohio dedicated specifically to reform of the state's criminal justice system.
