Wut Wut Alma Moving Pictures is an independent movie production company that is based in Chippewa Falls, Wis., with its core members located in Chicago, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Madison, Milwaukee, and Tampa Bay. It was formed in principle on July 6, 2004 and incorporated on January 9, 2006. Composed of an assortment of highly motivated young professionals -- including a chemist, a physicist, a legal assistant, a portfolio underwriter, a healthcare software connoisseur, a junior college student and a temp -- Wut Wut Alma was built on a foundation of unbreakable personal friendships and creative and intellectual thinking. Preliminary production is underway on Wut Wut Alma's first large-scale creation, the feature-length comedy Illegal Use of Joe Zopp. Scheduled to shoot in August of 2006, the film will be created and produced by the members of Wut Wut Alma, employing regional actors and crew and using the luscious Wisconsin landscape as its backdrop. Moving forward, Wut Wut Alma strives to continue the creation of independent moving pictures while maintaining the hunger, humility, and humor that have made Wut Wut Alma what it is today. Wut Wut Alma's current and forthcoming works are intended for the joyful consumption of the general public, in addition to the faithful worship of a loyal band of dialogue-memorizing, T-shirt wearing, message board-flooding cult followers.
