The mission of the Chillicothe Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of the people of the City of Chillicothe from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing emergency medical services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; to pursue, arrest, and seek prosecution of those using fire as a criminal tool, and to provide a work environment that values cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination. We will strive to provide those services with a professional and courteous crews trained to deal with these incidents in an efficient manner.
