Description of Aldo Castillo Gallery
The Aldo Castillo Arts Foundation provides art education and exposure for children and the community as a whole. The Neumann Association provides comprehensive rehabilitative and support services for individuals living with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Generous support from the Seabury Foundation and the Illinois Arts Council helped to make this mural possible. Bodies of Work: The Chicago Festival of Disability Arts and Culture is a citywide, multi-venue festival featuring artwork and performance that addresses disability issues and highlights the work of artists with disabilities in a variety of disciplines, including the visual and literary arts, dance, film and theater. Lectures, tours and workshops are also featured.
