MSN prides itself on giving our clients a high level of specialized service. Many of our clients come to us with multiple projects. MSN is able to offer the same level of service that many of the old line, large global executive search firms do. However, we differ in that we are niched and can customize packages as well as offer more levels of hiring than traditional executive search firms. One of the areas which makes MSN stand out is the consultative approach we use with every client. We are able to help a client determine their staffing needs, we can assist in establishing the position criteria and we offer hands on service during the candidate selection process. In addition, we have moved away from traditional and unsuccessful recruitment practices. MSN operates in a team environment to better benefit the client's needs. The team consists of sellers and recruiters; sellers being responsible for developing new accounts and servicing open orders while recruiters being responsible for handling the research, cold calling, qualifying, interviewing and submission of candidates to the clients. Both sides are integral members of the team and need to work closely together in communication and strategy. Teams are not always the same - each open order that a salesperson brings in will be assigned a point person, or lead recruiter depending on experience and work load. MSN does not recommend one candidate over another or tell a client who to hire. We offer the clients details to make a strong, successful hire. MSN is currently in need of an experienced seller who is skilled at working vertically and horizontally within clients, with an emphasis on the ability to reach decision makers. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Building new business first with Chicago based clients where we are not currently getting business, and then branching out nationwide Keeping an ongoing list of potential clients to maintain a minimum of X clients in pipeline at all time (pipeline meaning that they are more than just a prospect but are in active process of proposal or negotiation) Working current and prospective clients in a vertical and horizontal manner allowing us to work with more divisions and departments within a company Conducting clients needs analysis and creating out of the box solutions to propose Negotiation of contracts, providing billing details to bookkeeping, assisting in collection when necessary (prefer to be done by Business Manager) Meeting required number of new business calls to maintain billing goals (as a full-time seller this person should easily be considered a top producer for company) Upon gaining an order, will work with client to develop working job profiles and gather pertinent information to be able to properly communicate needs to recruiter Shall manage recruiter assigned by job to oversee that we are meeting client expectations and will participate in client updates with recruiter Attending networking events both locally and nationally Attending the weekly staff meeting at 10am Monday with an update on pending business, prospects, news, views, etc. The person we are looking for MUST HAVE:EITHER a) 5+ years in media with strong business contacts and an understanding of the media advertising sales industry; OR b) 5+ years of selling for a staffing service, preferably selling full-time or direct-hire services
