The Closing Company offers title insurance and title search services in all of the counties and cities our branch offices serve. We are a direct operation of Commonwealth Land Title, part of LandAmerica, which is the third largest title company in the U.S. Our experienced title searchers perform research in the court house clerk's offices to determine the "chain" of title and what any previous owners in the "chain" have done with the property. Through LandAmerica, we have access to title "plants," which are essentially libraries of title searches performed on properties in the past. This allows us to reduce the cost of the title search and give our clients discounts on the title premiums.
