Interpretive Simulations helped again this year with the 19th annual Faculty Development in International Business (FDIB) program held at Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. This program is known to be the oldest and most highly regarded of its kind. The program consists of 6 seminars, all of which are held by the top faculty in their field from around the world. All seminars are one week long, held on the same week in early June. Participants choose one to concentrate on each year. The program's goal is to prepare and further educate faculty on how to teach international business courses. During the program, Participants learn new ways to develop course outline, and given the opportunity to review top textbooks and supporting course material. They also gain knowledge of key case studies, simulations such as our own, and exercises. Attending the program allows faculty to meet other international business professors from around the world and compare teaching methods and information. The Center for International Business and Education Research (CIBER) offered a limited number of $500 scholarships for each course.
