Dick and Bob started their business in 1976, because of their love for wood-working and antiques. In college while earning their degrees in City Planning and History they became aware of the large number of beautiful pieces from old homes and commercial buildings that were being carted off to landfills and lost. After starting the business they decided to start salvaging as many pieces as they could. Many of these pieces now grace new and old homes, and commercial establishment in the southeast
