This acquisition enables the group to provide improved logistics and technical support to its customers in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, while enhancing the portfolio of products and services available to Data Chem's customers. This is a further strategic action by Clariant Oil Services, following successful acquisitions and business growth in California and Canada over recent years and the move into a new and expanded office and Technical Center in Houston in 2004.
