As a family medicine physician, Dr. Scott Ciechna provides primary care for patients of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness and injuries, Dr. Ciechna is an excellent resource for preventive care, routine check-ups, physicals, acute and chronic conditions, immunizations, screening tests, behavioral health, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Ciechna received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University - School of Medicine and completed a family practice residency at Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine. Having grown up in a large family and being the father of five children himself, Dr. Ciechna enjoys caring for entire families in his medical practice. He is committed to developing care plans with input from his patients so they fully understand what's going on and why. He believes this is critical to the overall success of each patient's care.
