MMS Consultants, Inc. utilizes state-of-the-art technology and equipment to produce a quality product in a timely manner. Our computer system includes 41 work stations connected by Microsof. We use Microsoft XP and Landdesk Development Autocad 2004 software which are the best systems available. To prevent loss of data, this system is powered by an uninterruptible power supply and backed up daily on DAT tapes. We frequently receive and transmit drawings and other information to our clients, municipal and other government offices, consultants, contractors and vendors. We can transmit drawings by Email to others so they can read and print them even if they do not have Autocad capabilities. Our survey equipment includes two Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and the most modern, state-of-the-art survey equipment to supply up to seven crews on any day. We have an all terrain vehicle for non-destructive access to almost any site at any time. We have twelve 4-wheel drive vehicles to support our survey, design and inspection services. All field crews are equipped with instant communications by use of radio/cell phones. We have a new Giddings drilling rig, mounted on an all wheel drive tractor which can take 3 inch cores to a depth of 30-feet for soil exploration work.
