Info

Since 1987, InnoVision Technology has created and manufactured innovative video character generation and special effects solutions for video communicators and broadcasters around the world. Ahead of its time, Video Effects 3-D for the Amiga, the first InnoVision Technology product released in 1988, gave desktop videographers unmatched power for creating user customized 3-D effects with super smooth playback at 60 fields a second - on a 7MHz Amiga! Broadcast Titler 2, launched in 1989, is widely recognized as the standard in Amiga personal computer titling software featuring 1472x480 pixel resolution, high quality anti-aliasing fonts and smooth transition effects. The program was voted "Video Product of the Year" by readers of Amiga Magazine Europe in 1992 and 1993. First introduced in 1992, PrimeTime with Animation brought high quality titling and effects capabilities to the PC environment. PrimeTime was also selected by Accu-Weather Corporation, the world's largest broadcast weather forecasting service, for use with their FirstWarn emergency broadcast system. In 1994 InnoVision released MONTAGE for the Video Toaster, the first third party application for that system. MONTAGE features include real-time font scaling at an effective resolution of 1 nanosecond and 24-bit image generation/processing with automated sequencing. In 1995 Alpha Paint, the first 36-bit paint and image enhancement software for the Video Toaster, established itself as the platform standard. It is used by television and film facilities such as CBS, NBC and HBO. Alpha Paint has won rave reviews from the desktop video industry. It was one of the finalists for the 1995 AV Video Magazine Platinum Award (other software nominees included Adobe AfterEffects 2.0 and AutoDesk 3D Studio 4.0). In addition, Alpha Paint was nominated for Post Magazine's 1996 Professionals' Choice Awards in the Paint category, alongside Adobe Photoshop and Fractal Design Painter. 1997 marked the introduction of the Alpha CG character generator on the Windows platform. Improving upon features built from previous software and adding new ones such as layered objects and TrueType font support, Alpha CG is the culmination of over a decade of refined character generation product development. Versions for several video hardware devices soon followed such as FAST Video Machine, PowerPixel Pixelock, and the Pinnacle Alladin/Genie Plus boards. In 1998, InnoVision introduced specialized versions of Alpha CG which were included as an integral part of the Sony ES-3 non-linear editor, FAST 601 MPEG2 non-linear editor, FAST blue. hybrid editor, as well as others. In 1999, InnoVision released the Title Machine - Real Time PC Video Titling Solution. The Title Machine is a video hardware/software combination that allows you to create titles with a specialized version of Alpha CG and display them over video with full transparency and color control. Title Machine also allows you to grab video frames and create special effects like video strobe. In the early 2000's, InnoVision had partnered with many professional and broadcast videographic companies to bring the latest titling and graphics technology to the video producers. This included our latest titlers for Globecaster of Globalstreams, Visual Communicator of Serious Magic, and NeoType for Applied Magic's ScreenPlay and Sequel systems. At InnoVision Technology we have built our reputation by providing innovative videographics software solutions for the video industry, and we will continue to strive to do so in the future.
