Our field construction supervisors each have more than 20 years of experience in heavy civil construction and environmental remediation. Many also have degrees in construction management, civil engineering and/or related disciplines. Using this experience, training and education, our staff has successfully completed unique multidisciplinary construction projects in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and South America. In addition to construction services, Opal's senior personnel provide construction-related consulting services. These services include cost estimating and feasibility determinations, Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, claims analyses, dispute resolution, and expert witness testimony. Health and Safety is one of Opal's top priorities. Opal's record of maintaining worker safety is above construction industry averages. The Experience Modification Rate (EMR) assigned to Opal by the insurance industry has always been significantly below 1.0.
