Coco's bakery still offers its signature collection of freshly baked fruit pies, cream pies, seasonal favorites, cookies and muffins. The bakery also features other specialties - freshly baked bread, brownies, coffee cake and layer cakes. Additionally, a full line of espresso-based beverages, such as cappuccino, café mocha and café latte, is now served in all remodeled Coco's Bakery Restaurants. Each remodeled restaurant will re-open with a grand celebration - a three-day event complete with the ceremonial cutting of a giant cherry pie, special promotions, entertainment and more. With close to 200 Coco's Bakery Restaurants, the system-wide rollout of the new design is expected to take several years to complete. The campaign began in July 2000 following the successful testing of the remodel plan in Tustin, Calif. So far, 12 restaurants have been completed. Freshly baked pies, muffins, cookies, breads and cakes, along with signature entrees, make Coco's a top choice in the family-dining category. Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Coco's is a regional family restaurant chain that operates close to 200 restaurants primarily in California and Arizona, with additional locations in Colorado, Indiana, Missouri and Washington. Currently, the company operates 142 restaurants and 36 are operated by franchisees. Under international licensing agreements, an additional 302 restaurants are located in Japan, Korea, China and United Arab Emirates.
