Info

Generon represents a new breed of international consulting firmâ€"one that is motivated by a desire to create a more equitable, peaceful, and sustainable world. We address the most vital challenges facing organizations and societies by creating breakthrough, system-shifting innovations through the transformation of individual and collective patterns of seeing, thinking, and acting. We help leaders of companies, governments, and civil society organizations create better futures. Generon has co-developed a social technology for addressing highly complex challenges. The U-Process is an innovation process, a theory, a set of practices, and a language for producing extraordinary breakthroughs. We have developed the U-Process in collaboration with Otto Scharmer, with contributions from other remarkable individuals such as Brian Arthur, Betty Sue Flowers, and Peter Senge. In conducting the underlying action research, we also benefited from partnership with organizations such as Shell Oil Company, McKinsey & Company, the Society for Organizational Learning, and the United Nations Development Programme. It represents the best theory and practice from 20 years of organizational learning, management consulting, leadership development, scenario planning, and multi-stakeholder problem solving. Two books have recently been published exploring this work. Generon's co-founder, Joseph Jaworski, co-authored Presence: An Exploration of Profound Change in People, Organizations, and Society with Peter Senge, Otto Scharmer and Betty Sue Flowers. Generon co-founder Adam Kahane is the author of Solving Tough Problems: An Open Way of Talking, Listening, and Creating New Realities.
