Wilson Pest Control has been serving Cabot, Jacksonville and Beebe, Arkansas, for over 40 years. James Odell Wilson founded the company in 1965, and James' brother Bobby joined the company a few years later. The brothers built Wilson Pest Control on this foundation: integrity, quality service and client satisfaction. James developed heart problems and was forced to retire, leaving Bobby to work the business alone for many years. Meanwhile, Bobby's 9-year-old son Barry began working some with his dad, "killing bugs." Eventually, Barry grew up, graduated from school and ran his own successful business--Sebring Hair Design Center in Cabot--for 12 years. In the years following, Barry decided to go back to his "first love" and began (again) helping his dad kill bugs, learning the business from the ground up. Bobby Wilson diligently taught his son the essentials of the pest control business, but had already taught him, by example, that hard work plus integrity equal success. Bobby developed health problems, and in December, 2003, he passed away after a year of struggling with cancer. Barry Wilson has since taken over Wilson Pest Control and is excited about offering Cabot and surrounding communities the same integrity, quality service and client satisfaction in next generation pest control.
