The Cable Area Veterinary Clinic is owned and operated by Dr Eric D Swanson, DVM, CVC, and Jackie Swanson; CVT. Dr Swanson is a 1990 graduate of the University of MN College of Vet Med and a Certified Veterinary Chiropractor. Jackie is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1994. We provide a full complement of services for both residents and visiting patients to the area. Internal medicine, preventative medicine, dermatology, oncology, critical care, endocrinology, spinal manipulation, thoracic, abdominal, orthopedic, and trauma surgeries are routinely performed in our facility. We are certified by International Canine Genetics and Synbiotics in canine reproduction and are able to handle most any of your breeding needs if an appointment is made in advance. Diagnostic services are supported by a state of the art radiology facility, in house chemistry, pathology, and hematology laboratories. Therapeutic concerns are handled anywhere from an out patient basis to the use of around the clock care that is provided in our facility. We in fact are the only facility in NW WI that is able to provide true 24-hour intensive care for our patients.
