LeMaitre Vascular, Inc. is a provider of medical devices and implants for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. The Company develops, manufactures, and markets vascular devices to address the needs of vascular surgeons. Its portfolio of peripheral vascular devices consists of products that are used in arteries and veins outside of the heart and are known to vascular surgeons, including the Expandable LeMaitre Valvulotome, the Pruitt-Inahara Carotid Shunt, and VascuTape Radiopaque Tape. In April 2007, the Company acquired its LeverEdge Contrast Injector, a hand-powered injection system used in obtaining accurate radiographic images of the vasculature, from Cardiovascular Innovations, LLC. In September 2007, it acquired EndoRE line of remote endarterectomy products, as part of the business of Vascular Architects.
