GEOD Corporation has been providing land surveying and photogrammetric mapping services throughout New York and New Jersey continuously for over 45 years. These services have been provided primarily from our Corporate Office in Newfoundland, Passaic County, NJ and our subsidiary office in Clifton, Passaic County, NJ. GEOD is recognized as a small business enterprise by the Federal Government under NAISC 541370. Our staff of 50 professionals and skilled technicians is experienced in surveying, aerial photography, digital orthophotography, GPS, and digital base mapping for complex projects. Our combined corporate staff includes Nationally Certified Photogrammetrists (ASPRS), surveyors licensed in nearly all the states in the northeast, stereoplotter operators, photo technicians, survey technicians, field surveyors, Geographic Information System (GIS) specialists, support personnel, and managers. Our staff of professionals is dedicated solely to the land survey and aerial mapping professions. We are committed to promoting the professional development of its staff by providing continuing education in the latest applicable technology. We continually upgrade our inventory of technical instrumentation in order to provide the most accurate information to our clients. Each member of our staff is committed to the completion of each task of every project in compliance with our State-approved Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan in a professional, timely, and cost effective manner. GEOD Corporation has completed hundreds of survey and mapping projects for contractors, consulting engineers, Highway Authorities, Federal, State, and Municipal agencies. We have earned a solid reputation for providing accurate and cost effective, professional services for our many repeat clients. The majority of GEOD's projects are awarded based on qualifications and exemplary past performance. We have also developed a reputation for providing innovative mapping techniques, such as Low Altitude Mapping & Photogrammetry (LAMP) and laser scanning surveys for highways, bridges, tunnels, and industrial applications. These techniques have resulted in reduced time and costs on difficult or complex projects. Our experienced personnel can provide all the services needed to cost-effectively produce the horizontal and vertical control surveys, construction layout/as-built surveys, base maps, topographic surveys, aerial mapping, or any special condition surveys to meet your specific needs for this contract. GEOD provides boundary line surveys, topographic surveys, property acquisition maps, monumentation, right-of-way mapping, cadastral surveys, construction stakeout, engineering design surveys, global positioning system surveys (GPS), environmental surveys, assurance surveys, monitoring surveys, and hydrographic surveys for ports and harbors, channel sections, dredging (volume), and sweep shore electronic positioning. Our photogrammetric staff produces photogrammetric control surveys, topographic mapping, softcopy photogrammetry, digital orthos, digital terrain modeling, digital elevation modeling, low-altitude mapping & photogrammetry (LAMP), photogrammetric cross-sections, flood plain profiles, and base mapping for GIS programs. GEOD Corporation's field crews and supervisors are trained in accordance with the most recent Department of Environmental Protection guidelines with certificates from the Emilcott Health, Safety, and Environmental training program. All field personnel are medically monitored on a yearly basis and each has been given a fit test for respirators. Our field crews have had extensive experience on hazardous waste environmental sites working with many premiere architectural, engineering, and construction firms on federal, state, and private sector projects.
