Piedmont Geriatric Hospital is seeking a trainer to design and deliver staff in-services including CPR, Therapeutic Options or Virginia (two day training program for direct care workers to manage problem patient behaviors). This position is the staff instructor, has input into the Hospital Training Plan and works collaboratively with the Clinical Discipline Heads. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with curriculum development and adult learning theory. The successful candidate will be proficient with PowerPoint, use of other audiovisual teaching supplements. We prefer education or experience in clinical care or Human Resources Development. Salary negotiable based on qualifications, salary history and market factors. Starting pay range is $30,000 to $50,000, plus full State Benefit Package.
