We are a "headhunting" agency: it is our job to accept, screen, and submit applications for positions offered by our clients, the employers. Candidates pay nothing for this service. Candidates and employers remain unknown to each other until a match is made. Once a candidate is identified as a high-probability fit to a position he/she is contacted by a PolySearch counselor to gather additional information and to share in greater detail information about the company to which a referral is being considered. After this interview, if the match remains positive, the client is given the opportunity to focus his/her resume to be more specific to the position (if needed) before the resume is forwarded to the Company. Our client's Human Resources Dept. then decides if they want to begin the interview process. Our clients pay us to screen all potential candidates and send to them only the very best "fits" to the job. Only a summary of the position requirements is published; what may seem to be a perfect match from the applicant's point of view may be passed over because another candidate has an advantage in education, experience, or other key criteria. Please be patient with the process. An applicant might be discouraged when no news is received regarding the position for which he/she applied. The competition can be difficult at times. The good news is that once he/she has submitted a resume, it remains in our database (unless requested otherwise) for at least one year and is considered for every position that PolySearch represents - greatly increasing the chance the perfect job will be found.
