All Independent Radio is a new radio station playing only cutting edge music from every genre, from every continent. The station is based in Boston, Massachusetts broadcasting from The New England Institute of Art. This innovative idea in broadcasting originated from Len Mailloux, a faculty member at NEIA and a broadcast professional with over thirty years' experience. Mailloux assembled a team consisting only of students who hold the management positions in all aspects of radio including programming, news, music, public relations, promotions, production, operations and band relations. All students at NEiA are encouraged to join the staff as on-air jocks, promotional assistants, music commentators, band recruiters, etc. The goal of the station is to promote the unsigned, unlicensed, relatively unknown bands that live in every town from Los Angeles to London and create a worldwide fan base for independent bands across the globe.
