John J. Iacono founded Brookside Clinical Laboratory, Inc. in 1966. During the early years, Mr. Iacono, along with a small and dedicated staff, performed daily phlebotomy service, testing and result reporting for clients. Although Brookside has developed into a significantly larger clinical laboratory, most of those clients we still service and nearly all of the initial staff are still part of Brookside today, thirty-seven years later. Brookside remains a community based independent clinical laboratory which services the Tri-State area. Some of our clients include long-term care communities, physician practices, universities, research hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, industry and outpatients. Technology, regulations and the health care industry itself have undoubtedly changed since 1966, the dedication and expertise of our staff and the clinical laboratory service we provide have remained steadfast.
