The Bristow Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of the business community. It is a private, non-profit corporation, designed to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and business interests of our community. The Chamber is not a civic club, charitable organization, or a department of city government. As a business and professional person, you have a stake in this community. You can safeguard your interests by working with others through the Bristow Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is creating an environment that can maximize your business potential and profitability. The Chamber is financed entirely by member investments. No tax dollars are used to finance Chamber operations. Your membership in the Chamber is an investment in the present and future of this community. The Chamber is run by a Board of Directors elected by members. The Board, serving without pay, hires a full-time Executive Director, and a part-time assistant to help manage the work of the Chamber and provide direct membership services. The Chamber of Commerce has proven itself the single most effective volunteer, non-profit organization committed to helping solve today's complex business and community problems. The Chamber unites hundreds of individuals, business and professional firms, thus creating a unique central agency working to improve business and build a better community. A large percentage of our membership is composed of small businesses. The Chamber sponsors many events throughout the year including Business After Hours, Chamber Forums, Business Afterhours, Business Spotlights, and our annual banquet.
