Sullins Academy is an independent, co-educational day school for preschool through eighth grade students. By recognizing each student's strengths, needs and abilities, Sullins Academy provides an education rich in both intellectual knowledge and character development. Beyond the traditional core subjects, students also receive enrichment courses in French, Spanish, computer technology and the arts. The curriculum is challenging, carefully developed to strengthen both character and intellect. Immersed in an atmosphere of learning, Sullins Academy students have the confidence to joyfully express their creativity, curiosity and knowledge in the classroom and beyond. Sullins Academy's beautiful 32-acre campus in Bristol, Virginia, includes outdoor playing fields, a spacious playground, a stream for environmental studies, and remaining areas for possible future development. Inside, our gymnasium boasts a climbing wall, and each classroom is equipped with a new computer networked to all other computers in the school, including those in the library research center and computer lab. Our science lab was also recently upgraded with new workstations and an outdoor greenhouse.
