XDx, Inc. is a molecular diagnostics company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of noninvasive gene expression-based tests for the monitoring of transplant rejection and autoimmune diseases. The Company focuses on immune-mediated conditions that require life-long monitoring and testing to avoid, or to quickly respond to, serious complications. The Company launched its first commercial test, the AlloMap HTx molecular expression test, in January 2005. The Company is also engaged in designing a clinical study to create a gene expression test to monitor for disease flares in patients affected by systemic lupus erythematosus, or lupus.
