Pike County Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization, funded entirely with donations from citizens, civic organizations, business owners, and the United Way. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. All money raised is used to cover the payment of cash rewards and for promoting the program to the public. Cash rewards can vary, depending on the seriousness of the crime, the relevance of the tip to the crime and the funds available. NO TAX Dollars are involved. A community Board of Directors provides direction as to the financial and promotional activities of the program. This Board of Directors meets quarterly, or on an as necessary basis to decide on reward amounts for specific crimes. So what can you do to help? We need your support, your involvement and your contributions. No community program works unless it's citizens become involved. And no program as critical as crime stoppers will succeed without you as concerned citizens and business leaders becoming involved.
