SkillsTutor delivers research-based instructional tutorials and online assessments to help learners master core academic skills common to standardized tests. The program aligns to the Missouri Assessment Program Test (MAP) and the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). The content covers reading, writing, language, mathematics, algebra, workforce readiness skills, information skills and science. A "best-practices" workshop is scheduled with Missouri educators prior to the MAACE (Missouri Association for Adult Continuing and Community Education) conference on June 19, 2001 to expand SkillsTutor's usefulness in Missouri's adult basic education programs.
