BTW presents socially relevant classical and contemporary productions with a commitment to expanding Boston's theater going audience and redefining the theater experience. BTW is committed to: establishing a lasting cultural presence in New England producing classical plays in a non-traditional way producing Boston premieres by known playwrights producing, developing, and commissioning new plays by emerging playwrights discovering and nourishing new and existing audiences increasing access for financially disadvantaged audiences pursuing community education and outreach wherever possible developing and supporting arts curricula within Massachusetts elementary and secondary schools utilizing underrepresented artists in every aspect of theatre redefining every facet of the theatre going experience Our 2007/2008 Season is made possible in part by generous grants from Douglas and Judith Krupp, George and Lizbeth Krupp, Dalyn A.
