William L. McKernan, a Certified Public Accounting firm, has served clients for 42 years, operating as a sole proprietorship until 1983. Since then, the firm has operated as a professional corporation under the laws of the Commonweath of Pennsylvania. The firm currently consists of nine individuals: three Certified Public Accountants and six support staff. The three CPAs have accounting, auditing and tax experience ranging from 40 to 5 years. Two of the CPAs have large firm experience with firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deliotte-Touché. Two had audit experience with public and private clients and one had experience with small emerging growth clients. This collective experience enables us to perform audits and reviews of a variety of clients ranging from a large mult-state public utility contractor, to a variety of manufacturing clients with diverse products, to new and used automobile agencies, to professionals in law, medicine, and engineering, as well as a variety of small businesses. Our client base consists of individuals, corporations, partnerships and not-for-profit entities. We currently prepare approximately 900 individual tax returns and almost 450 business tax returns. There is one office located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
