Jim Tolbert is the Chief Executive Officer of Education Futures Group, LLC, a firm focused exclusively on the acquisition of post-secondary education operating companies. Education Futures Group focuses on acquisition opportunities where the target companies could benefit from an operationally-oriented buyer with a strong capital base. In June, 2006, EFG completed its first acquisition of El Paso, Texas based Computer Career Center (www.computercareercenter.com). In April of 2007, a branch campus was opened in Las Cruces, NM. In June, 2007, EFG completed its second acquisition of Utah based Certified Careers Institute (www.cciutah.edu). CCI has campuses in Salt Lake City and Clearfield. In October 2008, the school was renamed Vista College (www.vistacollege.edu). In August, 2007, EFG completed its third acquisition of Texas based Texas Computer Training Institute. TCTI has campuses in Lubbock, Texas and Amarillo, Texas. Early in 2008, these campuses were re-licensed in the state of Texas and renamed as Computer Career Center of Amarillo and Lubbock. Jim and other members of the EFG management team have deep post-secondary operational experience and will play an active role in the management of the company. Jim Tolbert and Prospect Partners were both previously partners and investors in Education Corporation of America (d/b/a/ Virginia College), a post-secondary school in the Southern United States. Jim Tolbert was the former Chief Financial Officer of Virginia College and one of the shareholders. Jim is the past-Chairman and board member of the Career College Association (www.career.org). Lee Chayes, the President of Education Futures Group, is the founder of Computer Career Center and its Chief Executive Officer until the sale of the school to EFG. Chicago-based Prospect Partners, LLC is a leading lower-middle-market private equity firm managing $270 million in two funds. A highly active, committed and experienced smaller-company investor, Prospect Partners focuses exclusively on management-led leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations of niche market leaders with revenues typically between $10 and $50 million. Since its inception in 1998, Prospect Partners has invested nationwide in over 70 companies in a broad range of niche markets, including consumer, commercial, manufacturing, distribution and specialty business and consumer services.
