The mission of BioHorizons is to lead the dental industry in development and worldwide distribution of innovative implant products, scientifically designed to optimize the quality of patient care. BioHorizons was founded in 1994 and features innovative oral reconstructive devices in two main product platforms: Dental Implants and Tissue Regeneration. Science, Innovation and Service are the core elements infused into all of our products. We offer six comprehensive implant lines:Tapered Internal, Single-stage, Internal, External, One-piece 3.0 and Overdenture; covering virtually every surgical and prosthetic indication. All implants carry an unconditional lifetime warranty, are CE Mark certified and are registered under the ISO 13485:2003 international quality standards. Recently we've begun adding Laser-Lok microchannels to the collar of our dental implants. Laser-Lok is a precision laser-machined surface treatment with 15 years of in vitro and in vivo clinical research. It is unique within the industry as the only surface treatment shown to attach and retain both hard and soft tissue. Tissue regeneration is an important component of implant dentistry. BioHorizons has exclusive distribution arrangements with LifeCell Corporation, processor of AlloDermand Osteotech, Inc., processor of GRAFTONand MINEROSS. AlloDerm provides an alternative to harvesting connective tissue from the palate for root coverage and soft tissue augmentation. GRAFTON and MINEROSS allow clinicians to choose either a demineralized or mineralized bone allograft.
