MedBioWorld was founded in Austria as Science.komm by Dr. Mark Brownlow in the mid-1990's, brought to the US in 2001 by a US publishing company, and acquired in 2004 by Healthnostics, Inc., a publicly traded US company (symbol - HNSO). Healthnostics is currently spinning-off of its portal subsidiary MedBioWeb Corp. into a new public company. The new company will include the MedBioWorld medical and biotechnology professional portal and the FamilyMedicalNet consumer portal.
