Strategic planning is the process of defining strategy for an organization and making decisions and allocating resources accordingly to pursue to strategy. Control mechanisms may also be set out to implement the strategy. It ensures that operation and strengthened, that employees and stakeholders are all focused on a shared common goal and that agreements are established as the intended results. The results can then be assessed and evaluated. This is also known as strategic management and planning in managements.
