Since 1986, Iris has produced technical and marketing materials for businesses, electric utilities and government agencies. We have conducted training programs, produced training videos, written newsletters, brochures and booklets, and created product databases and CD-ROMs. In early 1995, Iris began developing a company Web site. The site grew rapidly into Oikos, a premier source of information on energy-efficient and environmentally-responsible construction. For a number of years, we also managed and maintained sites for a number of small companies and local agencies. In 2007, Iris began refocusing its efforts on its original mission - Oikos.com, which includes a searchable product database, secure bookstore, resource library and advertising opportunities for sustainable building product manufacturers and distributors.
